The village lies in the central part of the Rila mountains, on the right bank of the Iskar river, and is the starting point of classic routes – Musala peak, the Seven Rila lakes, Mechit peak, Malyovitsa peak, Yonchevo lake, Urdini lakes and many huts.

Winter
12 km from Govedartsi, at the Malyovitsa resort, there are two ski runs with a chairlift. We offer ski instructors and ski equipment.
